Our Lady of the Assassins review

This Film is a Masterpiece! The juxtaposition of violence and the Beautiful scenery of Colombia, the cynicism of Fernando , the innocence of Alexis, The Peculiar love between them is endearing. The film is brilliant and real, nothing comes across as contrived, nor is the violence gratuitous . Did I already say that I love this film? The great divide in their ages, the natural banter between them also brilliant. The boy is clearly not gay but loves Fernando. The film is not about sexuality or Violence, it is about loss, suffering, survival, and the human need for connection. Love. Therein lies its Beauty. Open your minds.
